TMG Fest 8: Bring Your Favorite Board Games to the Table

Your shelf has games that deserve some table time! Join us for TMG Fest 8 on Saturday, October 10, 2026, starting at noon at Three Mountain Games in Reedsburg.

Our board game day is a chance to revisit old favorites, discover something new, and spend an afternoon with people who enjoy gathering around a table. Bring a friend, bring a game you’ve been eager to play, or simply bring yourself. We’ll help get the games—and the conversations—started.

How Does TMG Fest Work?

The idea is simple: bring up to two board games you would like to play and be ready to teach them. We’ll randomly select games until everyone has something to play.

As games finish, we’ll pick again and keep going. That means you might start with a familiar favorite and find yourself learning something completely different at your next table.

There’s no need to bring an entire collection. Choose a couple of games you’re excited to share, make sure the pieces are ready, and brush up on the rules before you arrive. Being prepared to explain your game helps everyone spend more time playing and less time searching through a rulebook.

We all have one: the game we bought with every intention of playing, only to have it wait patiently for the right group. Or perhaps yours is a well-loved favorite that you wish more people knew about.

This is a great opportunity to bring it along.

Part of the fun is seeing what other players choose to share. Someone else’s favorite might become your next favorite, and a game you’ve never considered could surprise you once you sit down and play.

You don’t need to choose the biggest or most complicated game you own. A quick card game, a clever strategy game, or something that gets the whole table laughing can all make for a memorable session.

Come With Friends or Meet Your Next Gaming Group

You don’t need an established gaming group to enjoy the day. Coming on your own is welcome, and you don’t need to own board games to participate. Join a table, learn as you play, and enjoy meeting fellow gamers.

If you’re newer to the hobby, let us know when you arrive. We can help you find a comfortable place to start. Experienced players can help make the day welcoming by explaining rules patiently and giving everyone time to get familiar with a game.
