Halloween Board Game Nights at Three Mountain Games This October

Halloween Board Game Nights at Three Mountain Games This October

Halloween Board Game Night schedule at Three Mountain Games featuring Dead by Daylight, Mysterium, Zombies!!! and The Haunting House.

October is getting a little spooky at Three Mountain Games.

Every Tuesday night this month, our regular Board Game Night will feature a selected Halloween-themed game. Whether you enjoy tense survival, ghostly mysteries, zombie mayhem, or haunted houses, we have something different lined up each week.

Board Game Night is a great chance to try something new, meet other local gamers, and enjoy an evening of tabletop gaming in downtown Reedsburg.

Tuesday, October 6 – Dead by Daylight: The Board Game

We’re starting the month with Dead by Daylight: The Board Game, a tense game of survival inspired by the popular video game.

One player takes on the role of a deadly Killer while the other players become Survivors working together to repair generators and escape. The Survivors will need to coordinate their movements, predict the Killer’s plans, and stay one step ahead if they hope to make it out alive.

If you enjoy asymmetric games, hidden intentions, and plenty of suspense, this is a great way to kick off our Halloween lineup.

Tuesday, October 13 – Mysterium

The following week, things take a supernatural turn with Mysterium.

In this cooperative mystery game, one player becomes a ghost who can communicate only through mysterious illustrated visions. The other players take on the roles of psychic investigators trying to interpret those clues and solve the circumstances surrounding the ghost’s death.

Mysterium is atmospheric, imaginative, and perfect for players who enjoy deduction games without direct competition.

Tuesday, October 20 – Zombies!!!

On October 20, the undead take over with Zombies!!!

Players make their way through a city crawling with zombies while searching for a path to safety. Fight off the undead, interfere with your opponents, and try to survive long enough to reach the helipad — or prove your zombie-slaying skills by taking down enough of them to win another way.

It is chaotic, campy, and exactly the kind of zombie-filled fun that belongs in October.

Tuesday, October 27 – The Haunting House

We’ll finish the month with The Haunting House on October 27.

Players explore a mysterious haunted house filled with changing rooms, strange events, and plenty of unexpected trouble. Finding the way out will not be easy, especially when the house itself seems determined to keep everyone inside.

It is a fitting final game as we head into Halloween weekend.

TMG Fest 8: Bring Your Favorite Board Games to the Table

TMG Fest 8

Your shelf has games that deserve some table time! Join us for TMG Fest 8 on Saturday, October 10, 2026, starting at noon at Three Mountain Games in Reedsburg.

Our board game day is a chance to revisit old favorites, discover something new, and spend an afternoon with people who enjoy gathering around a table. Bring a friend, bring a game you’ve been eager to play, or simply bring yourself. We’ll help get the games—and the conversations—started.

How Does TMG Fest Work?

The idea is simple: bring up to two board games you would like to play and be ready to teach them. We’ll randomly select games until everyone has something to play.

As games finish, we’ll pick again and keep going. That means you might start with a familiar favorite and find yourself learning something completely different at your next table.

There’s no need to bring an entire collection. Choose a couple of games you’re excited to share, make sure the pieces are ready, and brush up on the rules before you arrive. Being prepared to explain your game helps everyone spend more time playing and less time searching through a rulebook.

Give That Game on Your Shelf Its Moment

We all have one: the game we bought with every intention of playing, only to have it wait patiently for the right group. Or perhaps yours is a well-loved favorite that you wish more people knew about.

This is a great opportunity to bring it along.

Part of the fun is seeing what other players choose to share. Someone else’s favorite might become your next favorite, and a game you’ve never considered could surprise you once you sit down and play.

You don’t need to choose the biggest or most complicated game you own. A quick card game, a clever strategy game, or something that gets the whole table laughing can all make for a memorable session.

Come With Friends or Meet Your Next Gaming Group

You don’t need an established gaming group to enjoy the day. Coming on your own is welcome, and you don’t need to own board games to participate. Join a table, learn as you play, and enjoy meeting fellow gamers.

If you’re newer to the hobby, let us know when you arrive. We can help you find a comfortable place to start. Experienced players can help make the day welcoming by explaining rules patiently and giving everyone time to get familiar with a game.

That shared experience is what makes a local board game community special.
