New Miniatures Games Have Arrived at Three Mountain Games: StarCraft and Cyberpunk Combat Zone

Two legendary video game worlds have made their way onto the tabletop at Three Mountain Games! We have just received new miniatures products for the StarCraft Tabletop Miniatures Game and Cyberpunk Combat Zone, and both offer a very different way to bring some of your favorite gaming universes to life.

Whether you are already a miniature gamer, a longtime fan of StarCraft or Cyberpunk, or simply looking for something new to put on the gaming table, these are worth checking out.

StarCraft Comes to the Tabletop

For decades, StarCraft has been one of the most recognizable names in strategy gaming, built around the never-ending conflict between three very different factions: the technologically advanced Protoss, the relentless Zerg, and the heavily armed Terrans.

Now that battle can move from the computer screen to your tabletop with the StarCraft Tabletop Miniatures Game.

We currently have a selection of StarCraft products in the store, including the Two Player Starter Box, Protoss Starter Set along with additional units and expansion sets for the Protoss, Zerg, and Terran factions.

That means players can begin building forces around their favorite faction and expand them with new units as they learn the game.

If you have ever looked at a swarm of Zerg and thought, “I want that army,” or always preferred sending in the Terran Marines or commanding the advanced forces of the Protoss, this is your chance to actually put them on the table.

Rather than commanding massive armies, Combat Zone focuses on smaller groups of characters fighting through a fast-moving urban battlefield.

Fans of the Cyberpunk universe will immediately recognize the style—neon lights, high-tech weapons, dangerous streets, and a world where things can go wrong very quickly.

It is a great option for players who like skirmish-style miniature games where individual characters and tactical decisions matter.

Which One Should You Try?

Board Game Design Workshop

Have you ever played a board game and thought, “I have an idea for my own game”? Now is your chance to bring that idea to life.

Three Mountain Games is hosting a Design Your Own Board Game Workshop on Saturday, July 11, starting at 1:00 PM. This hands-on event gives players, families, young creators, and game lovers the chance to build their own board game using parts from our parts bin — and the best part is, you get to keep what you create.

Whether you already have a big game idea in mind or just want to sit down and make something fun, this workshop is designed to be creative, welcoming, and easy to jump into.

Create Your Own Board Game

Board games start with imagination. Maybe your game is about racing across a dangerous island, collecting treasure in a dungeon, building the best kingdom, escaping monsters, or creating something completely unexpected.

At this workshop, participants will get the chance to design their own game from scratch. You can create the theme, make the rules, choose the pieces, and build something that is uniquely yours.

You do not need to be an expert game designer. You just need an idea, some creativity, and a willingness to try something fun.

Use Parts from Our Parts Bin

One of the most exciting parts of this event is getting to dig into our board game parts bin. Participants can use available pieces, cards, dice, tokens, boards, and other game materials to help build their creations.

Sometimes the best ideas come from seeing a strange token, a colorful card, or a random game piece and asking, “What could I do with this?”

That is part of the fun.

The goal is not to make the “perfect” game. The goal is to create something, test an idea, and have fun doing it.
