July Events at Three Mountain Games: Pokémon, Magic, D&D, Board Games, Riftbound, Star Wars & More

July is packed with events at Three Mountain Games, and there is something on the calendar for just about every kind of gamer. Whether you are looking to battle in a Pokémon prerelease, draft Magic: The Gathering, join a Dungeons & Dragons adventure, try your hand at designing a board game, or just find a fun night out in Reedsburg, we would love to have you join us.

Three Mountain Games is located at 46 E Main St. in Reedsburg, Wisconsin, and our July calendar is full of weekly favorites, special events, prereleases, and community game nights.

Weekly Events in July

Some of our favorite weekly events continue throughout the month.

Pokémon Night happens every Tuesday at 4:00pm. This is a great time for players to trade, play, learn, and connect with other Pokémon fans.

Board Game Night also takes place every Tuesday at 5:30pm. If you are looking for a relaxed way to try something new, meet other players, or bring your gaming group together, this is a great night to stop in.

Magic: The Gathering Commander happens every Wednesday at 5:30pm, with additional Commander time on Fridays at 5:30pm. Commander is one of the best ways to enjoy Magic in a social, casual, and creative format.

Dungeons & Dragons League runs Thursdays at 6:00pm. Whether you are brand new to D&D or have been rolling dice for years, this is a welcoming way to jump into an adventure. Some July sessions have a $5 entry fee.

MTG League also takes place Thursdays at 6:30pm, giving Magic players another weekly opportunity to play, test decks, and enjoy the community.

And on Fridays, we continue our MTG Marvel Super Heroes Draft events at 6:30pm with a $25 entry fee. If you have been enjoying the superhero side of Magic, Friday nights are the place to be.

Special July Events

July starts strong with a big holiday weekend of gaming.

On Saturday, July 4, we will host a Pokémon Prerelease at Noon. Entry is $30, and this is a great chance to experience the new set before release day. Later that same day, we will also have a Magic: The Gathering Commander Party at 2:30pm.

On Sunday, July 5, Riftbound players can join us for a Riftbound Summoner Skirmish at 1:00pm.

On Friday, July 10, Beyblade fans can join us at 4:00pm for a Beyblade event before our regular Friday Magic events.

On Saturday, July 11, we are hosting a Board Game Design Workshop at 1:00pm. Entry is $10, and this is a great event for creative gamers, families, and anyone who has ever thought, “I want to make my own game.”

On Sunday, July 12, Star Wars fans can join us for a Star Wars Prerelease at 2:00pm. Entry is $29.99.

Later in the month, Magic players can team up for our MTG 2-Headed Giant Commander Party on Saturday, July 25 at 2:00pm.

Then on Sunday, July 26, Riftbound returns with a Riftbound Prerelease at 2:00pm.

A Welcoming Place to Play in Reedsburg

At Three Mountain Games, our goal is simple: we want to be a welcoming place for people to play games. You do not need to be an expert. You do not need to know every rule. You just need to be willing to sit down, try something fun, and meet some great people along the way.
