Join us on Saturday, July 4 at Noon for our Pokémon Pitch Black Prerelease Event. This is your chance to open new cards, build a deck, and battle with the latest Pokémon TCG set before its official release.
The cost to play is $30.
What Is a Pokémon Prerelease Event?
A Pokémon prerelease is one of the best ways to experience a new set. Instead of needing to bring a finished deck from home, players receive a Build & Battle style kit, open packs, and create a smaller deck using the cards they get.
That makes prerelease events fun for both experienced Pokémon players and newer players who are still learning the game. You do not need to have the perfect deck ready. You just need to show up, open cards, build the best deck you can, and have fun.

Prerelease events are designed to be beginner-friendly because everyone is building from a fresh pool of cards. You do not need to own a competitive deck, and you do not need to know every card in the set ahead of time. Our goal is to make the event fun, welcoming, and easy to enjoy.
