What Is a Pokémon Prerelease Event?

A Pokémon Prerelease is your chance to get an early look at the latest Pokémon Trading Card Game expansion before its official release!

Unlike a traditional Pokémon tournament, you don’t need to bring a carefully constructed deck. Instead, you’ll receive a special Build & Battle Box containing cards you can use to create your own deck right at the event.

Once everyone has built their decks, it’s time to battle!

You’ll face off against other Trainers, test your strategies, and discover how the new cards work together. With everyone building from a limited selection of cards, each match offers something different!

And the best part? You get to keep all the cards you receive!

Each Friday is a separate opportunity to draft, build a deck, and experience the fractured multiverse!

What Makes Reality Echoes Different?

Normally, Magic: The Gathering booster drafts challenge players to build powerful decks by selecting cards from passing booster packs.

Reality Echoes changes that experience with a special Pick-Two Draft format and the opportunity to use powerful Echoed Pairs.

Players draft three Reality Fracture Play Boosters, selecting two cards at a time before passing the remaining cards to the next player.

But the real excitement comes from the legendary characters hiding inside those packs.

Enter the Echoverse: Discover Echoed Pairs!

Imagine a world where your favorite Magic characters made different decisions, followed different paths, or became entirely different versions of themselves.

That’s the Echoverse!

Reality Fracture introduces Echoed Pairs, legendary cards representing alternate versions of characters from across Magic’s multiverse.

Some of the exciting combinations include:

• Liliana the Faultless and Liliana the Repentant
• Ajani Resolute and Ajani Unrelenting
• Tinybones, Pocket Nuisance and Titanbones, Towering Heart

During the draft, players can collect both cards belonging to an Echoed Pair.

Before each game begins, you may reveal one complete Echoed Pair from your drafted deck and start both cards in exile.

During the game, you can cast one of those cards as though it were in your hand. When you do, you may shuffle the other card into your library.

This special mechanic gives players an exciting strategic advantage and introduces a little Commander-style planning into the draft experience.

Will you build your deck around a legendary pair, or will you take your chances with an entirely different strategy?

The choice is yours!

Compete for a Special Reality Fracture Promotional Pin!

The excitement doesn’t stop when your deck is built!

Magic Presents: Reality Echoes features a special Reality Fracture Set Symbol Pin awarded to the draft winner, or undefeated players in larger events without a single winner, while supplies last.

It’s a fantastic collectible and another reason to bring your best drafting strategy to Friday Night Magic!

Friday Night Magic Is Better Together!

One of the best parts of Magic: The Gathering is the community that grows around the game.

At Three Mountain Games, we believe gaming should be welcoming, engaging, and, most importantly, fun!

Our Friday Night Magic events bring together players from Reedsburg, Baraboo, Wisconsin Dells, and surrounding communities for evenings of friendly competition, creative deckbuilding, and unforgettable Magic moments.

You don’t need to bring a constructed deck for this event. You’ll build your deck from the cards you draft!

Whether you discover an incredible Echoed Pair, pull off an unexpected victory, or simply enjoy a night of Magic with friends, there’s something exciting waiting for you.

Join Us October 16 & 23!
