The Marvel Universe is coming to Magic: The Gathering, and Three Mountain Games is ready for prerelease weekend!

Join us June 19, 20, and 21 for the Magic: The Gathering | Marvel Super Heroes Prerelease, where players will get their first chance to crack packs, build decks, and battle with cards inspired by some of Marvel’s most iconic heroes and villains.

Whether you are a longtime Magic player, a Marvel fan curious about the game, or someone who loves the excitement of a new set, prerelease weekend is one of the best times to jump in.

What Is a Magic Prerelease?

A prerelease is a special event where players get to experience a new Magic: The Gathering set before its official release. Each player receives prerelease product, builds a deck from the cards they open, and plays in a fun, casual tournament-style event.

You do not need to have a deck ready ahead of time. The fun is opening new cards, seeing what you get, and building something on the spot.

Prereleases are also some of the most welcoming Magic events because everyone is learning the new cards together. It is a great environment for experienced players and newer players alike.

Magic Meets Marvel

Magic: The Gathering | Marvel Super Heroes brings the energy, action, and larger-than-life characters of Marvel into the strategy and deckbuilding of Magic.

Expect big moments, dramatic plays, familiar faces, and plenty of excitement as heroes and villains clash across the table. If you have ever wanted to see what happens when the Marvel Universe enters the world of Magic, this is the weekend to be here.

Three Mountain Games Prerelease Schedule

We will be hosting multiple prerelease events throughout the weekend:  Each event has a $35 entry fee that includes prize support for all participants.

Friday, June 19 at 6:30pm
Kick off prerelease weekend with our Friday night event.

Saturday, June 20 at 11:30am
Start your Saturday with a fresh deck, new cards, and plenty of Marvel action.  (Be aware there is a parade going on so parking will be hard to find and roads will be closed).

Saturday, June 20 at 4:30pm
Can’t make the morning event? Join us later in the day for another chance to play.

Sunday, June 21 at 4:30pm — Two-Headed Giant
Team up with a partner for our Sunday Two-Headed Giant prerelease event. Work together, build together, and battle as a team.

Dungeons & Dragons League Begins Thursday, June 18 at Three Mountain Games

The mists are rising, the castle waits in the distance, and adventure is calling.

Three Mountain Games is excited to launch our Dungeons & Dragons League on Thursday nights starting June 18 at 6pm. Whether you are brand new to Dungeons & Dragons, a longtime adventurer, or someone who has always wanted to try but never knew where to start, this is a great chance to sit down at the table and begin your next story.

For the first month, our D&D League will take players into the shadowed lands of Ravenloft’s Domains of Dread. These adventures are filled with gothic horror, mystery, danger, and those unforgettable moments that make tabletop roleplaying games so much fun. Expect eerie settings, difficult choices, strange characters, and plenty of opportunities for heroes to rise against the darkness.

New Players Are Welcome

One of the best things about Dungeons & Dragons is that you do not need years of experience to enjoy it. You do not need to know every rule. You do not need to have the perfect character ready. You just need a little imagination and a willingness to jump into the adventure.

Our Dungeons & Dragons League is open to all age and experience levels. If you have never played before, we can help you get started. If you have played for years, this is a great way to meet new players, try new characters, and enjoy a consistent night of adventure.

The goal is simple: create a fun, welcoming place where players can gather, roll dice, tell stories, and face whatever waits in the mist.

Adventures in Ravenloft’s Domains of Dread

Ravenloft is one of the most iconic settings in Dungeons & Dragons. It is a place of haunted castles, cursed lands, tragic villains, and creeping shadows. The Domains of Dread are not just dangerous because of the monsters that lurk there. They are dangerous because every choice matters, every secret has weight, and every hero may be tested in ways they never expected.

For our first month of D&D League, players will step into that world and experience adventures built around gothic fantasy and dark mystery. It is the perfect setting for players who love atmosphere, suspense, and stories that feel a little different from a standard dungeon crawl.

Free Dice for Participants

To celebrate the start of Dungeons & Dragons League, all participants will receive a free pack of dice.

There is something special about having your own dice at the table. Maybe they roll high when it matters. Maybe they betray you at the worst possible time. Either way, they become part of the story.
