Recommendations:
Not sure where to start other than I was a little disappointed with this version of the madden game. It seemed a very dumbed down version of a great game and a great sport. I have seen people who have never played the game do very well playing it. I have always had a problem with how sports games scale up to more challenging levels. All I ever see is them make the computer faster and with higher stats. Outside the normal game play, there is the Madden Moments mode. This was fun for the first few, but then it just got to be pretty much the same thing over and over again but with a different team. I just don’t think the game added anything new to the Madden Franchise unless you are big into online play. It is a shame that you can’t just download roster updates each year and not need to buy a new game each year. Heck, I would even pay $10 to just get the new rosters and new players.
Overall, I just didn’t care for the few changes that were made. I am also very disappointed with how EA has decided to handle playing the game on more than one system. I should be able to buy a game and borrow it to a friend without them having to buy a code to be able to play online. Just another way EA is trying to milk every last penny out of the people that are fairly dedicated to their products.
