I have a weakness for book series – once I start, I just can’t stop! After devouring the first two books, I knew it was only a matter of time before I dove back into the series for another round. In this latest installment, Clary’s mom is still stuck in a coma-like state, and the only cure lies in finding the elusive Ragnar Fel. But of course, he’s not one to be easily found. To complicate matters, Clary must venture to the city of glass, with Jace hot on her heels, trying to stop her from making a reckless decision. But when has Clary ever listened to reason?
This book is a rollercoaster of action, mystery, and just a hint of teenage romance. The character interactions are more natural, the story flows effortlessly, and there are no dull moments to be found. It’s safe to say this is the best book in the series yet.
I can’t wait to see what twists and turns the next book will bring. It’s definitely going on my must-read list!
