Indeed, this delightful tale is a children’s book that is part of a captivating series. It follows the adventures of two siblings who tragically lost their parents and now reside with their less fortunate aunt. Despite lacking the wealth and influence of their relatives, they hold a special fondness for their late Aunt Grace. At her funeral, a shocking revelation is made – a family member will inherit a mysterious secret, but only after uncovering 39 hidden clues scattered around the globe and embracing their destiny as leaders of the Cahill family. This thrilling quest takes them from the United States to the enchanting streets of Paris in search of the elusive Maze of Bones.
I must say, I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It is a brisk read that keeps you on the edge of your seat. However, the constant bullying the siblings endure from their conniving family members does become a tad tiresome. It’s almost too predictable that they will face adversity at every twist and turn. Nevertheless, I am eagerly anticipating the next installment in this riveting series.
