Join the adventure of a struggling traveling circus in this captivating tale! The circus acts are lackluster, with no one interested in seeing a strong man or a two-eyed goat. But when the bearded girl makes a trade for a mysterious rock and wagon, little does she know it will lead to a thrilling adventure that could save the circus!
This story may be a bit edgy for the 3rd through 7th-grade crowd, with mentions of bodily functions and real-world issues like cancer and overpriced drugs. But fear not, it’s still an enjoyable read for both kids and adults alike. Plus, it cleverly weaves in a message about the evils of big pharmaceutical companies.
I must say, I thoroughly enjoyed this story. It has a perfect blend of elements that cater to a wide range of audiences. The characters are quirky and lovable, set against the backdrop of a dysfunctional circus, making for a truly entertaining read. I’m already itching for more adventures with these characters and will definitely be on the lookout for other books in the series.
