It seems things are about to get real in the Blue Exorcist world. It kind of reminds me of Ghostbusters when things continue to get worse until the ultimate enemy is revealed. In this volume, things are getting worse. Every day is getting to be a challenge, and it appears it will take everything the exorcists have to turn the tide. I liked the two enemies the students had to face. It was a clever way of dividing the group yet making them still work together. When this one ended, I wanted to jump right into the next one, as I really want to see what is next for Rin and company.

Overall, this was a wonderful book. The story really started to come together and seemed more focused than some other books. Let’s hope it continues in that direction.
