Having read vol 1 I had to check out vol 2 just to see where the series goes. This vol goes in a completely different direction than the first one. You still have the same main characters and actually get to see The Fantastic Four a bit. The main enemy in the vol is rather interesting, I enjoyed it a bunch.

Overall, I enjoyed the read, even though it is not the best series I have read. I thought it was better than vol 1, so if you liked vol 1 check this one out.
