If you read my review of the first one, you might wonder why I would bother with the second one.  That is a question I have not fully answered for myself.  Now the first one was terrible and this one finds a way to be slightly better.  When  I say slightly,  I mean just enough to get to a full star.   This one takes place after the first one.  Malcolm has moved.  He has a new girlfriend, and they are moving into a different house.  The problem is, the house has some problems as well, mostly that it includes a creepy doll.  Again, Malcolm sets up some cameras to figure out what is going on and learns that it is more than what you think.  Of course a large amount of the jokes are sexual in nature and to make that worse is they are done in a very creepy way.  The only thing that puts this slightly better is that a few of the jokes are funny and they are not sexual in nature.  It has a few decent scenes, but they are not enough to overcome the crap that surrounds it.

Overall, I still would not recommend this movie.  It has very few qualities that make it worth anything.  Even less qualities that make you feel like this movie is a good use of your time.  Though they found enough things to make this better than the first, it is only by a slim margin.  My biggest hope is that if we pretend like this movie and the one before it didn’t exist, them maybe they won’t.
