The series returns with season 2. Season 1 was great. It had great characters. One of those great character played by Connie Britton has moved on and I was a little worried about that. She was my favorite character and at times carried the show. Jennifer Love Hewett joins the show and the rest of the cast return. In this episode a series of events happen from a guy triggering a grenade, to manholes exploding, to a guy trying to do something stupid to become a YouTube sensation. Despite all of that going on, the crew has time to find new loves, pose for a calendar, and take advice from old lovers. This episode had a lot of going. It actually took it up a notch and really found the right combination.
Overall, I can’t pick a flaw of in this episode other than maybe it ended. Since all good things come to an end, I will have to hope that the second episode continues where this left off. I once again enjoyed the characters, the story, and the stupidity of people. Potentially, that makes me feel a bit better about myself that on my worst day I won’t be that dumb. This was a great start to the second season and though I really liked Connie Britton they found a way to cover her absence.
