This is a sequel and with that you never know if it will live up to the original or not. This one takes place 28 Weeks after the outbreak of the rage virus that ran havoc in the first movie. At this point, the US military has taken control of the British Island. People are starting to relocate back to the island. With this being a movie, there is no way it could go that simple. Just when they are certain the virus has died out, it resurfaces. It is not long and zombies are running havoc over the city again. As a sequel it does hold up well with the first one but also to a degree lets you down. The story itself has more than one flaw. They tried a few different filming techniques, one that had one of the characters looking through a nigh vision scope. Once again, this really did not work for me. The actors do a pretty good job and for the most part made the film better that what it could have been.

Overall, I enjoyed the film, just not as much as the first one. It was hard to overlook all the flaws in the story, so that took away from the movie as well. If you liked the first one, you should see this one just to see a little more of the story and setting that the first one was set in.
