I was hesitant going into the last one not sure if we needed another buddy cop comedy.  Last time they were sent into a high school but now after another screw up they are sent into a college.  Another drug is hitting the market and who better to call than the all time best screw ups.  Problem is the base of operation at 21 Jump Street was sold so they have to work out of the church across the street at 22 Jump Street.  Off to college they go trying to find the dealer, This time Jenko finds his place with the jocks something he is good at.  Schmidt finds a girl but eventually that gets him into trouble in multiple ways.  This time the duo finds things a little harder.  Tracking the source is harder than they think and it seems that everyone is a little smarter this time.

Overall, this did still capture the spirit of the first one.  It just falls a little short of the other.  Does not reach the same level of comedy, same level of story mostly because the story is the same just set in a college environment.  Maybe with a few new jokes and a couple different twists.  Still I enjoyed that they made a second one even if it was the same in a lot of ways.  Make sure you watch the start of the credits as it goes through all the ways they could have continued the series but thankfully have chosen not to.
