The idea for Ray Finkle missing a game winning field goal in the Superbowl came from Scott Norwood’s kick going wide right in Superbowl 25 that cost the Buffalo Bills a victory, as the New York Giants Football Team defeated the Bills 20-19.

Both Miami Dolphin team pictures we see are supposed to be from the 1984 season. The problem is that both of these team photos were taken at Joe Robbie Stadium but it wasn’t built yet in 1984. The Dolphins were still housed at The Orange Bowl at that time.
The Miami Dolphins wore white jerseys at Dolphins Stadium, making it a home game. In the NFL, the home team wears team colors. Also, the Super is played on neutral ground. It would not be a home game for the Dolphins.
