Grand Theft Auto 3
Features
You’ve been betrayed and left for dead, now you’re taking revenge, unless the city gets you first. Mob bosses need a favor, crooked cops need help and street gangs want you dead. You’ll have to rob, steal and kill just to stay out of serious trouble.
I gave this game a full rating only because when it came it out, it was the best game out. Even though newer Grand Theft Auto games are better, this one set the stage and showed everyone what a great game should be. It set the example in open game play, something that even games today are unable to pull off. Its interactivity alone was groundbreaking when this came out. You had a whole city to do what you wanted in. The missions are fun, challenging, and for the most part unique. You can drive any vehicle you find also something that was new in video games. You have many options in regard to weapons, side missions, and save locations. Though this game has had enough bad press over the years for its violence and its portrayal of hookers, it set the stage for the great Grand Theft Auto games that followed. If you have not played this game, you should give it a try as it is very good.
