In the thrilling third installment, GKar finds himself facing the consequences of his past actions, as he must confront the reaper for destroying a family in his quest for personal gain. To buy himself some time, he stages his own demise, leaving Ivanova and Garibaldi to journey to the Narn homeworld to pay their respects, only to discover that all is not as it seems.

As they unravel a tangled web of deceit, they are drawn into a world of intrigue and danger, where the stakes are high and the odds are stacked against them. But what truly shines in this book is the vivid portrayal of the Narn homeworld, from its majestic canyons to its intricate caste system and underground burial rituals. It’s a rare glimpse into a fascinating world that will leave you wanting more.

While the story may drag at times, taking its sweet time to build up to the action, it ultimately delivers a suspenseful and gripping tale that keeps you on the edge of your seat. The attention to detail in depicting the Narn homeworld is commendable, even if it occasionally overshadows the plot. Overall, a solid addition to the Babylon 5 universe that will satisfy fans craving a deeper dive into this richly imagined world.
