Rating: 4 half star

This review is all about the sleek and stylish black edition, featuring the graphic novel editions of volumes 1 and 2. What’s truly remarkable is how this book manages to be a quick read despite its hefty content. The story kicks off by introducing us to the brilliant Light Yagomi, a young man with the world at his feet. But everything changes when he stumbles upon a mysterious notebook, dropped by a bored god who’s looking to stir up some trouble. This notebook comes with a set of rules that Light quickly seizes upon, setting in motion a chain of events that could alter the course of history.

I found the story to be captivating and well-crafted, keeping me glued to the pages from start to finish. In fact, I devoured the entire 400-page book in one sitting – a testament to just how engrossing it was. The artwork, done in the classic manga style, is top-notch and easy to follow, making it a visual treat for the eyes.

Overall, this book is a winning combination of great writing and stunning visuals. I savored every page and am eagerly anticipating diving into the second volume. The possibilities for where the series could go next have me on the edge of my seat. If you’re a fan of manga in any shape or form, this book is a must-read. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed!
