Counterblast Faction – Neiran
Intent on galactic domination, the Neiran Empire has posed a constant threat to the free peoples of the Galactic Council of Worlds for centuries. A matriarchal society, they are currently ruled by Messilina IV, a semi-divine empress descended from the Neiran Royal House, Aoth-Jiin. She is counseled by religious Oracles and huntress warlords, called Jamad, leaders of a powerful female warrior caste.
Neiran society is highly ritualized and at times can be quite brutal. Its citizens revere their supreme goddess,
their empress, and strength above all else. Weakness is held in utter contempt and is rarely tolerated or condoned.
Already an ancient civilization prior to the First Galactic War, the Neiran Empire now encompasses much of the
known galaxy. The threat of their expansion into the remaining free territories and contested regions is ever
present, their culture driven by conflict and conquest.
