I rather enjoyed this book. The holiday / birthday party was a light way to have the characters interacting without it having to be just school or demon related. It was fun. Also, the discussion about Rin and Yukio’s mother was a great addition to the story so far. The book started to lose me a bit when it started to get too deep in the Illuminati and the research going on.
Overall, this book had a great combination of light-hearted fun, serious story, and some parts that help to develop the characters. It left me wanting more, and that is not something that I have experienced in the last few books.
