The series really likes to be inconsistent in the story. In this story, it spends a lot of time trying to figure out the aftermath of the last volume. Who can be trusted, who can’t be trusted, and how are both sides going to respond to the past events. For the most part, a lot of the chapters are a lot of nothing. Lots of talk that really just circles back. Certainly a step back from the action and surprises the last volume had.
Overall, I am a little disappointed that this volume took a step back after the last episode was so promising. I get you can’t have non-stop action, but it seems like more of the story could have focused on what made the last volume so great. We will have to see if the next volume can reach those heights again.
