After the last book, I was expecting things to continue to build up. This book kind of takes a break from that and decides to have a festival. This book has a combination of relationship building, fun, and some serious moments as well. I was a little surprised by the direction as it was really expecting the story to continue to build up. Instead, it focuses on the Academy and a festival. That festival story was decent, there were some moments around it that were confusing and not really a part of the story.

Overall, this seemed like more of a filler story than one that moved the story forward. I am hopeful that this was just setting up some relationships to drive the story later.
