I was walking through our local book store one day and I spotted this title, picked it up and noticed that Joss Whedon was writing. I did hear that he was writing for Marvel but really never paid much attention. As I thumbed through the book, the artwork started to shout out to me to purchase the book. So here I am reviewing this book. So the story is good, but it has a lot in common with the story of the movie X-Men 3. A cure has been found and all the turmoil that a cure would cause. It also has a little girl that is an example of how the cure works. Seeing any similarities yet! It does have a segment of the story that has the team leader Cyclops telling the X-Men team that they need to get better press. So they go take care of a hostage situation and then meet the press. The scene felt so much like the Ghostbusters walking out of the hotel with a captured ghost and meeting the press, or at least that is what it made me think of. Like I said earlier, the artwork was good in this book, I liked how they have drawn the characters.

Overall, this is a good book, the story gets better as you go. It also stays true to some prior relationship problems that some characters have. I think most comic books readers will like this book but am sure that all the X-Men fans will like it if they have not already read it.
