Rating: 2 Star

Let’s just cut to the chase – this movie is a perfect example of the film industry not knowing when to call it quits. If you’re craving some 80s comedy vibes, there are plenty of better options out there. Sure, there are a few chuckle-worthy moments, and the whole little brother trying to live up to his big brother’s reputation thing is mildly entertaining. But let’s be real, this sequel tried to capture the magic of the original and failed miserably.

The main character is a hot mess – one minute he’s a bad egg, the next they’re trying to paint him as a good egg. It’s like trying to turn an apple pie into a pumpkin pie – it just doesn’t work. Stifler’s character worked in the original movies because he had a solid crew of good guys around him. In this sequel, they make the Stifler-type character the star without any backup. It’s a recipe for disaster.

You’ll spend most of the movie torn between rooting for the main guy or wanting to throttle him. Do yourself a favor and skip this one unless you’re a die-hard fan who just can’t resist. Rent it at your own risk, but honestly, you’re better off watching something else.
