Venari – Axiom Subroutine

Venari demonstrate initiative alongside simple, though not necessarily acute, mental ability. To reward their motivation, the Venari cadet is given some considerable technological investment in the form of wetware and transference inputs alongside significantly more advanced training both in and out of the Aetherium. Venari inductees then are allowed to glimpse the power that their minds can wield in the Aetherium, and this taste of genuine, singular power (and not just that thuggish blunt force garnered from a group of Pratorian comrades) makes the Venari officer strong, menacing, and dangerous.

And thus, the Venari membership lies suspended somewhere between the advanced privilege of the more adequate Function class, and the underclasses distributed among the Praetorian ranks. Instead, they combine these two peculiar dispositions into a raw aggression. Theris is a precarious life that demands the efficient execution of duty.

Failure means referral back down to the ranks of the lowers castes. Only success, often violent triumph can offer a chance of more progress, more privilege, and further advancement. The taste of this privilege is motivation enough to push these individuals ruthlessly onward, desperately forward.

Perhaps unsurprisingly then, Venari will quite often loathe those beneath them for fear that they will soon return, and at the same time detest with vile envy the soft ease of those above them.

There is a cruel edge among these individuals. Venari presence alone will often dissolve, or at least disperse, tension in the Aetherium, as the citizenry has learned from harsh experience that the typical Venari dispatch entertains precious little patience and far less compassion. If a Venari officer demands compliance, do so immediately.

Coordination: Firing Square – If at least 2 models from this program are on the Server and all of the program’s remaining models are in range and LoS of the target model, then this program may roll 1 extra combat dice when making any attacks against the target model.
