The Odyssey
Overview: After Oliver is shot, he turns to a surprising person for help – Felicity. Diggle is stunned when he sees Felicity walk through the front door of the lair dragging a dying Oliver behind her, and the two team up to save Oliver’s life. As Oliver hovers between life and death, he flashes back to a seminal event on the island – a daring escape attempt with his new friend Slade Wilson.

After Oliver is shot he finds help from his favorite IT person. That means he has to trust her with his secret. While he is recovering we spend a lot of time in flashbacks. We see how he finds a new friend and also starts to train to survive. I think some of the best story elements so far in this series is the flashbacks to the island. Seeing how he became the person he is one of the biggest mysteries so far in the series.
Overall, I really liked this episode. The reveals of what happened on the island and Oliver’s struggle to survive is some really great moments in the series.
