I enjoyed this book.  It takes place right after the battle in the last book.  It shows the aftermath of the battle and how the True Cross Academy is going to handle it.  Dealing with injuries is one thing.  Dealing with the Illuminati quickly becomes a top priority.  While all of that is going on Lightning is doing a bunch of research along with his new underling.

Overall, this book is a quick read.  It has a lot of good things going on that really drive the story forward.  I am hopeful that we are just getting to the beginning of what is going to be a great story arc.  Curious where the Illuminati portion of the story goes.
