1942 Battle of the Midway Video Game Review
Features: The game is set in the Pacific theater of World War II, off the coast of the Midway Atoll. The goal is to attack the Japanese air fleet that bombed the American aircraft carrier, pursue all Japanese air and sea forces, fly through the 16 stages of play, and make their way to the Japanese battleship Yamato and destroy her.

I rated this one the sames as 1942, but it really is slightly better than that one. It just is not enough to warrant an increase in the rating. The game scrolls up, and you have to take out airplanes and ground units while avoiding shots at you. You can get some power ups along the way. You even get some boss battles as well. One improvement is you get a password at the end of the levels, so you can quickly get back to levels. The problem is the game much like 1942 gets very repetitive. It is fun for a while, but hard to stick with it when it gets a little repetitive.
Overall, the game is fun, but it is limited fun. It gets old fast and with that I lost interest quickly.
