Survival and progression
Your First Day… — 20G Survive a complete day-and-night cycle.
Your First Dino… — 20G Tame a dinosaur.
Your First Ride… — 20G Ride a dinosaur.
Maximum Survivor — 50G Reach the maximum survivor level.
Maximum Dinosaur — 30G Raise one of your dinosaurs to its maximum level.
Cure-All — 20G Cure yourself of Swamp Fever.
Dinosaur achievements
Rex Rider — 20G Ride a Tyrannosaurus Rex.
Giga Rider — 50G Ride a Giganotosaurus.
Master Zoologist — 100G Tame at least one of every required domesticable creature on the ARK.
Exploration and collection
Artifact Archaeologist — 100G Personally retrieve all required artifacts.
Veteran Paleontologist — 50G Find the dossiers for each of ARK’s original specimens.
Map Maker — 100G Uncover more than 80% of the mini-map.
Highest Peak — 50G Reach the highest mountain peak on the ARK.
Lowest Depth — 50G Reach the bottom of the ARK’s ocean.
The Island guardians
Veteran Survivor — 50G Defeat ARK’s first Guardian: the Broodmother.
Expert Surivor — 70G Defeat ARK’s second Guardian: the Megapithecus.
Master Survivor — 100G Defeat ARK’s third Guardian: the Dragon.
Survivor Evolved — 100G Defeat all three of The Island’s Guardians.
The achievement descriptions refer to these as the first, second and third Guardians rather than naming them directly.
Ascension achievements
Gamma Ascension — 30G Complete the final boss encounter and ascend at Gamma difficulty.
Beta Ascension — 60G Complete the final boss encounter and ascend at Beta difficulty.
Alpha Ascension — 100G Complete the final boss encounter and ascend at Alpha difficulty.
These require completing The Island’s Tek Cave and defeating the Overseer at the corresponding difficulty. Completing Alpha does not always reliably unlock the lower-difficulty achievements, so completing each difficulty separately is the safest approach.
Explorer Note achievements
Beginner Explorer — 5G Discover 10% of the Explorer Notes.
Experienced Explorer — 5G Discover 20% of the Explorer Notes.
Adventurous Explorer — 5G Discover 30% of the Explorer Notes.
Studious Explorer — 5G Discover 40% of the Explorer Notes.
Veteran Explorer — 5G Discover 50% of the Explorer Notes.
Adept Explorer — 5G Discover 60% of the Explorer Notes.
Professional Explorer — 10G Discover 70% of the Explorer Notes.
Expert Explorer — 10G Discover 80% of the Explorer Notes.
Master Explorer — 30G Discover 90% of the Explorer Notes.
Perfect Explorer — 80G Discover 100% of the Explorer Notes.
The Explorer achievements unlock in 10% increments, with Perfect Explorer requiring the complete collection.
The Center
Survivor of The Center — 50G Defeat the Guardians on The Center map.
You must fight The Center’s combined boss encounter, featuring the Broodmother and Megapithecus.
Completion achievement
Apex Predator — 100G Unlock every other achievement.
Recommended completion order
For a normal playthrough, I would pursue them in this order:
- First Day, First Dino and First Ride
- Rex Rider and Giga Rider
- Highest Peak, Lowest Depth and Map Maker
- Maximum Survivor and Maximum Dinosaur
- Cure-All
- Artifacts and dinosaur dossiers
- Broodmother, Megapithecus and Dragon
- Gamma, Beta and Alpha Ascension
- The Center Guardians
- Master Zoologist
- Explorer Note cleanup
- Apex Predator
