In 2 Broke Girls Season 1 Episode 4, “And the Rich People Problems,” Caroline’s so-called “perfect bite” suddenly isn’t so perfect—and it sends her into full-blown panic mode. When she realizes her bite guard is still inside her old Manhattan townhouse, there’s only one solution: break back in and reclaim it.

Of course, Max is along for the ride. And while Caroline is stressed about dental alignment and trespassing into her former life, Max is happily soaking in the temporary return to luxury. Watching Max revel in marble countertops, plush furniture, and high-end everything is easily one of the funniest parts of the episode. The contrast between the two worlds never gets old.

This episode leans heavily into the show’s central theme—what happens when extreme wealth meets everyday survival. Caroline’s “rich people problems” feel trivial on the surface, but they highlight just how hard she’s struggling to let go of her old identity. Meanwhile, Max serves as both comic relief and grounding force, reminding us how different their realities truly are.

Despite the chaos of sneaking into a former townhouse, this episode is a delight. The main characters are really starting to come into their own. The humor feels sharper, the dynamic feels more natural, and the stories are weaving together in a way that makes the series stronger with each episode.

It’s safe to say, 2 Broke Girls is finding its rhythm—and it just keeps getting better and better.
