This episode is dominated by two main events. The big one is that a plane goes down in the Pacific Ocean. The first responders have to get to the scene as quick as possible to save as many as they can. The other story going on is Detective Athena Grant is out for revenge for what was done to her daughter. Will she cross a line? Even then, her story and the story of the plane do cross paths for a good section of the episode. The story is pretty good. You get a fair amount of action with the plane crash, as well as some drama that follows. This episode starts to delve a little deeper into one of the main characters, which hopefully continues. If you want us to cheer the highs and cry through the lows, you have to get us invested in the characters.
Overall, the episode was good, and I was happy to see a role for Claudia Christian, one of my favorite TV actresses. This episode took a step in the right direction, and hopefully it will continue to build from this.
