This episode has a story about a woman getting shot while a block party is going on around her.  She is that awful neighbor that does not like anything anyone else does.  If they have a dog she does not like them, if they cook out she don’t like them, if they make a little bit of noise she does not like them.  Pretty much if you do anything besides breathing she is going to complain and even then it might be too much.  The horrible woman calls 911 and May takes the call.  Hears on the call that something goes terribly wrong and now must discover how she deals with this internally.  Maddie also drops a big secret on Howard and expects him to keep it.  She also drops some terrible news on Buck, their parents are coming to town to visit.   They agree to stick together as brother and sister and not let them get to them.  Howard of course is caught in the middle.  The final story is that May takes a call from a guy that claims to be blowing up a building.  He is disgruntled and wants to make people pay for it.  Howard ends up in a one on one confrontation with the bomber.  I struggled a bit with how this sequence ends.  I know it is a minor thing, and we all knew how this was going to turn out in the end, it still seemed a little strange how it plays out.

Overall, this was a good episode.  I am not a big fan of one little piece of it, and  I can’t allow myself to get hung up on that too much.  Outside of that, the episode came together nicely and was engaging.  Buck and Maggie’s parents are perfectly horrible.  They are just the parents that someone would dread coming.  I am looking forward to the next episode, where we get to see the backstory for Buck.  Based on the reveal at the end of this episode, I expect we get to know a lot about Buck and maybe even Maggie as well.
