The episode starts out with some monsters, all right. The monsters are a couple of school kids who pick the wrong crow to pick on. Maddie continues to figure out if things are as bad for her new friend as she thinks they are. A woman hits a guy and just keeps on going. Problem is, it is fairly clear that she hit him. Buck is working his way back in with the unit, but the response he gets is not the one he was expecting or hoping for. A ghost shows up on a person’s door step during trick or treating, and this leads to a bunch of questions that need to be answered. The episode is a good one. It has a some fantastic stories that go along with the Halloween theme. It is good to see Buck’s story progressing, and hopefully things will get back to normal. I am also glad that the story that was going on with Maddie has resolved, but I suspect we have not seen the last of that story line.
Overall, this is exactly what I have come to expect from this series, and it continues to entertain. Even when it takes a step back, other areas step up and make for a great episode. At this point in time, this series has a lot of stories to tell, and hopefully the core group can stay together for a few years to keep it going.
