This was an amazing episode. Right off out of the gate, we get a meteorite falling through someone. We get Hen getting away for a couple of days to recharge. I will say that I actually expected a little more from this segment. Then we have Maddie getting a call from someone that didn’t need her help a while back, but now all of a sudden wants her to solve things for her. This does go about as bad as it could possibly go. Athena struggles with the opinion that May has of her work as a police officer. This felt really out of place considering who May was, really into what her mother did at the beginning of the season when she was helping her in a crisis. It felt weird that she did a full 180 on this. The big story though is that Bobby and company respond to a truck that has crashed full of hazard waste. I think we are going to see these events return in the future. Possibly when we expect it the least.
Overall, the only real complaint I have with this episode is the full 180 that May makes that feels very much out of character and just seemed to be put in to give Athena a role in this episode. Hopefully this is the end of that story line, but things like this tend to pop up again and again.
