This episode had a lot going on. From a woman falling from her penthouse balcony to a group of teens stealing stop signs. Maddie and Chimney still have some struggles, but come together when it matters the most. Eddie gets help, but does not seem to think it is going to help. The theme for this episode is dumb luck, from Lucy Donato catching a person, to Eddie being the one that survived, to some teens stealing stop signs only to be hit by a car. The last one might not be dumb luck, but the action certainly was dumb.
Overall, this was a solid episode. It had a great pace and really kept the story moving. I am getting to the point in the series that I look forward to what the next call is going to be, as it most certainly will be crazy. Wouldn’t be something if they did and episode where all the calls were routine and the 118 does not know what to do at the end of the day as things were routine.
