After saving a traffic reporter from a helicopter emergency landing, the reporter decides to do a story on the department. She follows them as they save a muscle builder, a man that struggles after entering an eating contest, and a mom’s gone wild event at a junior beauty pageant. She also gets footage that does not look good for the department either after an incident with brownies. This episode also have a couple minor stories. Such as Buck’s sister getting her own apartment, but her fear of being alone or being found causes her a fair amount of stress. The other story that maybe should not be deemed a minor one as it has been ongoing is the battle with the demons that Bobby has. It would have been his daughter’s birthday, and this causes him all kinds of feelings, most of them not good. This is made worse when Athena’s daughter is trying on dresses for homecoming, and it really triggers him to be depressed.

Overall, this episode is a good episode. It may not be as good as some, but it still is darn good. It seems that no matter who you are, you are going to find someone in this series to relate to. They way Bobby pulls at your heart strings is amazing. You would think his story of losing his family would have run its course, but he delivers it in a way that really makes you feel for him.

I don’t normally do this but the preview for the next episode looks amazing. It is set during Halloween and it looks like they went above and beyond to make another fantastic themed episode. If it is half as good as the preview, it will be amazing.
