This episode continues the story with the ransomware attack. L.A. is on black out. Animals have escaped from the zoo, and a killer is on the loose. Everyone has to struggle through this, including people on ventilators. All the 118 is staying at the station. This has ramifications as well. Maddie is home alone dealing with her depression. Ana brings Christoper to visit the station, creating another moment for his dad. Athena gets some bad news that will send her once again on the trail of a killer.
Overall, this episode seemed to not carry the momentum that the last one started. It kind of lagged a bit. It still is fantastic, just not the level of the season premiere. I am curious now to see how long the story of the killer on the loose goes. Hopefully now that we see what his play is it will not drag out much longer.
