This episode really found a great way to bring a lot of what makes this series so great.  It continues the story with Buck, his roommate and the roommate’s girlfriend.  This causes Buck to call a friend, and it does not end well.  This does come back full circle.  Actually, this might be the best TV episode that add-in elements of the covid pandemic.  They really got this right and used a story that was more in line with how the pandemic unfolded.  So many other series got too fictional with the whole pandemic, but this one takes a very real approach.  Even the opening series  I have to commend them for that.  The pandemic also impacts the birth of Chim and Maddie’s child.  The creates a lot of pressure and anxiety.  Athena gets a call about an alarm that keeps going off, the pandemic might have just taken a couple to their breaking point.   Having been a foster parent and having kids come into our home, only to leave, creates a lot of emotion.  I get how Hen and her family feel.  It is hard, very hard.  But from the moment a child entered our home to the moment they left, all I could do is give them all the care they needed.  Try to set an example, and hope that for the time they are in our home they have a sense of calm.  Again this episode get things right.  I have to credit the writers in this series for finding those real moments and making them real.

Overall, I liked everything about this episode. It really shines when it all comes together and all of the stories are a powerful piece when they are alone but brought together bring a lot of emotion.  This episode highlight everything great about this series.  When you bring in great characters and have them execute powerful stories, you get something that is rare.
