This side give you victory points in the first two stages.  In stage three you turn over one of your leader cards and place it under the symbol on the left, this happens as soon as the stage is built.  At the end of the game you get its cost doubled in victory points.  You do not get any of the effects the leader would grant you once it is flipped down.  If the leader cost 4 coins to bring in, then it would be worth 8 victory points.  You would want to use leaders that are not going to get you greater benefit by being in play.  This might make a high cost leader more worth the risk.  Think about that when selecting your leaders at the beginning of the game.

This side allows you turn turn two leader cards over and put them under the symbol on the left.  This happens as soon as the stage is built.  Side B allows you to do this twice.  This might make higher cost leaders worth the risk.  A 4 cost leader would grant you 8 victory points.
