Rating: 3 Star

By now, fans of 2 Broke Girls know that Max and Caroline always manage to land themselves in some sort of predicament — and the episode, “And the Drug Money,” is no exception. This time, Caroline finds herself facing legal trouble when she’s ordered to give a deposition about her father. The problem? She can’t afford the lawyer’s fees.

Plot Recap

With money tight (as always), Max suggests an unusual solution: joining a paid drug study to earn quick cash. The study promises enough money to cover most of Caroline’s legal costs, but of course, there are some hilarious strings attached. The side effects leave Caroline anxious and out of her element, while Max — as always — takes it in stride with her signature sarcasm.

Comedy and Themes

What makes And the Drug Money entertaining is how it leans into the show’s running theme: no matter how absurd the situation, Max and Caroline always find a way through. From courthouse drama to pharmaceutical chaos, the duo’s resilience — and mismatched personalities — keep things moving with a mix of comedy and heart.

Overall Impression

While not the wildest episode of the season, And the Drug Money delivers a solid mix of laughs, awkward situations, and friendship moments that fans expect. It highlights the lengths the girls will go to scrape together money while still keeping their cupcake dreams alive.

Final Verdict for “And the Drug Money:

A funny, slightly offbeat episode with enough charm and wit to keep you watching.
